F8 2020

For the 2020 Facebook F8 Developer Conference, we wanted to celebrate the human potential, diversity, and uniqueness of the developer community with portrait photography (stills primarily, and motion) of real developers as a core component of the event’s branding.

This body of work was to be used in an effort to amplify developer voices and shine a light on their diverse conversations around technology and human connection. We envisioned using the photography in a variety of design materials leading up to, (ie. F8 website) and primarily at the event.
